Are you tired of taking your charger with you on the road? I was and I needed a charging alternative. After some searching I came upon this- the Belkin Mini Surge.

They are getting a little harder to find but Amazon has them in stock. Just know that they use the word “mini” very loosely when they describe it. I still bought two of them a few weeks ago. I usually have one in my Timbuk2 bag. Come to think of it – I have a lot of Belkin gadgets – cables, surge protectors and USB hubs.

Now I have a surge protector with built in USB charging functionality. I can charge my Blackberry and iPod Touch with one device. Somehow my wife just doesn’t think this is as cool as I do, just wait until she needs to charge something!
